Holistic species conservation

Natural forests with grey parrots and trees allowed to grow old — this is the association’s core guiding vision. Our holistic approach seeks a mutually beneficial development of human civilization and nature. Traditional conservation methods often remove natural areas from human use, putting local communities in opposition to these measures. Especially in regions marked by widespread poverty, conservation must offer economic added value and therefore be integrated into a viable business context. For us, nature and civilization are one.
